Trevi Fountain

Day 30: Rome

The day started with a lap of Rome on the open-top-bus to help us get our bearings a little. The city is full of amazing sights, but it will take a little time to put everything in perspective. So many great buildings and the roman ruins are everywhere. It seems there is a lot of active archeology going on all over the city. After our lap on the bus we hopped off and walked to the Trevi Fountain, Vittoriano and then on to the Coliseum. Wow. We took a tour and learnt a lot about the history. By now we were starting to fade (about 32 degrees we guessed) so it was another bus trip back to the hotel for a break before heading out to dinner and a walk to Trevi Fountain by night. And a compulsory gelato of course.
