SailOK, so I think I'm breaking the rules here - or at least the spirit of a photo a day project - because I didn't actually take the photo myself, but it was taken on my camera.
Today we went sailing on Swan Lake on Katrina's Maricat. This was the first time I'd sailed a cat since 1981, when I wrote off my dad's pride and joy. In the morning we took the kids out (Lauren with me on Katrina's boat and Katrina and Lach on a borrowed boat.) Everyone had a great time. It was the kid's first sailing experience.
In the afternoon it was race time. The local 'club' had 4 starters. I managed a second place after leading for most of the race. Not bad after all this time. Did I mention I had a great time?
